Academic integrity and student agency appear frequently as priorities, reflecting educators\u2019 concerns about how generative AI could influence assessment, authorship, and learning behavior. Yet despite these shared themes, research from organizations such as <\/span>Student Privacy Compass<\/span><\/i> shows that much of the guidance issued by states remains high-level. Many recommendations simply restate compliance with existing privacy laws rather than detailing risk-management frameworks or accountability structures specific to AI.
